Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a class?

No. This is a self-led, open-practice session. There may be a group warm-up and exchange of tips, ideas and such but there will be no structured teaching. The purpose of the group is to provide a space to train with like-minded inversion addicts and support each other.

What if I can’t do a handstand?

No problem. This is an all-levels, open training session. Whether you’re a pro or a beginner you’re welcome to come to train, exchange tips and just enjoy the community. But if you need coaching, chat to Kwame.

What are the rules?

Just be kind - you’re welcome to ask for spotting or tips but remember that this is an open training session so others may want to focus on their own practice. Equally, remember that others may be less experienced than you and might need you to be patient with them. Also, you are responsible for yourself, so practice safely and be aware of your surroundings!

How much does it cost

Free. This is a one-hour open-practice session for the local community. We do ask that you book below to ensure that we have sufficient space as the room fits about 16 people.

Do I need to bring anything?

Nope. But you’re welcome to. Kwame and some of the regulars occasionally bring handstand blocks, canes or parallettes so you’re free to bring your own. We also have use of the studio equipment such as yoga blocks and TRX too.

Who is this for?

Anyone who loves getting uspide down on their hands. Yogis, Crossfitters, Acrobats, Gymnasts or just regular folks who like to have their hands down and feet up. All levels from total beginners to pros are welcome!
